The Canto Cumulus partner of many years, Peter Fuhrhans, is the newest integration partner for our digital asset management software Cavok.
Alternative for Canto Cumulus wanted
After Canto decided to discontinue further development of Cumulus, it was clear to Peter Fuhrhans: "We need an alternative to offer our customers." After some research and comparison of various digital asset management solutions, the DAM / MAM service provider finally decided on Cavok.
DAM on-premise solution required
"The cloud trend is noticeable, but I am a confessed fan of on-premise and purchased software - although a cloud solution can be the better solution in certain constellations," explains Peter Fuhrhans. The advantage with Cavok: Customers decide where to store their data and whether to buy or rent the system. "The transparent licensing model also convinced me," says Peter Fuhrhans. "Compared to other providers with similar functionality, Cavok is significantly cheaper."
Cavok offers "flexible toolbox"
"We usually need special customizations for our customers. Cavok is a very open and flexible system that allows us to do a lot of customization ourselves and supports us with extensive configuration and flexible scripts," says Peter Fuhrhans, explaining his choice. The possibility of connecting productive workflows with classic file servers and the flexibility in connecting third-party systems also contributed to the decision. "Cavok convinces with flexibility in all aspects!", Peter Fuhrhans summarizes.
